Plastic Yi'an™P10 -- A New Type of Low Density, Halogen-free Flame Retardant PE
Key Features:
Low temperature and high impact resistance
Low smoke, halogen free, flame retardant
Low Density (0.99g/ cm3)
High density polyethylene is a high crystallinity, non-polar thermoplastic resin. HDPE has excellent resistance to most domestic and industrial chemicals. The polymer is non-hygroscopic and has good water vapor resistance, and can be used for packaging and liquid delivery and discharge applications. HDPE has good electrical properties, especially high dielectric strength, modified to make it very suitable for wire and cable. Medium to high molecular weight grades have excellent impact resistance at room temperature and even at low temperatures of -40 degrees Celsius. HDPE material has many advantages. Under normal temperature conditions, its performance is equivalent to or slightly lower than that of copolymer PP, but under low temperature conditions, HDPE material shows more prominent low temperature impact resistance than PP material. With the advancement of technology, a new type of low-smoke, halogen-free, low-density HDPE material with higher cost performance (lower price, lower density, lower smoke density, higher low temperature resistance, higher Strength) quickly replaced the traditional bromine antimony system.
Use:
1. Anti-shock wave folding bellows under extreme cold conditions
2. Drop-resistant socket under extreme cold conditions
3. Low density halogen-free flame retardant cable sheath
