What is CNAS?

CNAS certification, the English abbreviation of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, was merged and reorganized on the basis of the original Chinese certification body National Accreditation Service (CNAB) and China National Accreditation Service for Laboratories (CNAL).

CNAS is a national accreditation body approved and authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration, which is responsible for the accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories, inspection bodies and other related institutions.

What does it mean to be CNAS certified?

CNAS is currently the only and most authoritative laboratory review agency in my country. This accreditation review takes the longest time and is the most difficult to pass. The recognition shows that the construction of the experimental software and hardware conditions of the Risheng Testing Center is more complete, the testing methods have reached the internationally recognized level, and it has the ability and qualifications to carry out relevant testing services in accordance with relevant standards, and the testing report issued is more authoritative and Credibility.

Which countries can CNAS certification be recognized?

Reports issued by CNAS accredited laboratories can be recognized by the following countries:

1. Mutual recognition with the Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC): including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Mexico and other 21 member countries and regions.

2. Mutual recognition with the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC): including Australia, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, 23 countries and regions including Vietnam, Canada, the Philippines, Nepal and Mexico.

 

 

 

Since August 15, all personnel of Shanghai Risheng Laboratory Testing Center have been working hard for the goal of establishing CNAS National Laboratory. in June 18-20, 2016, the audit team of the sun test center to do on-site audit, the work of the testing center to do a full recognition and high evaluation. It has obtained 13 recommend and approved testing capabilities by the evaluation team, involving 49 national standards, ISO standards, ASTM standards and DIN standards.

 

In 2016, the evaluation team of the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) considered that the management system and technical capability of Risheng Laboratory met the requirements of CNAS accreditation, and the evaluation team agreed to approve the laboratory to CNAS and formally grant Risheng Testing Center National Laboratory accreditation qualification.
